Praise the LORD!

Hello All!

Just a quick note to let you know that God spared Wilder's life yesterday! He was driving an excavator on a construction site, and while moving a log it spun & smashed into the windshield of the excavator & broke it, AND although he was covered in glass, HE DID NOT GET CUT! or killed! Yahoo! Praise Jesus! Thank you for keeping Wilder alive!

long time no speak...

Howdy Folks! I've been sooooo BUSY I haven't had a moment to blog..and even so, I'm stealing a moment of time now to give a quick update..the kiddies are getting HUGE! Wilder loves his new job-although VERY stressful. We bought a NEW TRUCK which is very cool, but if you don't watch out it will cause your head to expand....so I'm trying to keep the winder's rolled down. In the meantime, I'll try to blog again this week...I lost the cable to my camera so downloading pictures has been costly-I HAVE TO BUY A CORD...TODAY!!! so I can get back in business. Speaking of, I've been working a bit on my photo-business and workinging with another gal from my town which has been going very well...we're shooting another wedding this weekend at my mom's church, so that should be fun. In the meantime, enjoy a few pics of the boys having a good time down south with their cousins.

Tuscaloosa

This past weekend we had the opportunity to visit with an old friend (who is now almost a lawyer...he'll find out his bar exam results in September) in Tuscaloosa. It was a great visit & the kids really gave him a run for his money (he doesn't have any kids yet) :) Unfortunately my camera is broken at the moment (as mom is continuing to search for the receipt from Christmas) so I don't have any pictures to share right now :( But I can say it was a good day, and we enjoyed catching up & seeing the arboretum. Dash jumped in puddles & rolled in mud & we all sweated a great deal. Wilder got to see the continued cob construction that was started o so long ago (in 2004) and finally, IT RAINED!! Praise the Lord for bringing rain to Alabama! Bring it again Lord, we'll be ready!

Boating

Hello Again! (Can you tell I'm loving this?)

I just wanted to post a semi-recent picture of the kiddies & I on a boating trip in Florida. Unfortunately Wildre had to stay at home & work :( But the kids & I had a blast! My friend Bean took us out on her dad's boat, we grilled out, saw manatees, and played on a sandbar. I really loved seeing all the birdies too. So did the kiddies. I'll have to post another pic of Bean with Romeo. They were so sweet. He fell asleep after all of the fun. And of course, Dash loved GOING FAST on the boat.

Romeo

Guess what? My dear sweet Romeo has started walking! I was so amazed last night when he saw a soccer ball in our den and instead of crawling for it, he stood and took five steps!! I just said, "ah ah ah..." when I wanted to say, "Wilder!! Look at Romeo!! He's walking!!" Too cool. I'm so proud. And Dash was so proud, he started playing a song on the guitar. Wow! What an awesome day it was. Thank the Lord for video! Now I can remember it forever!
